I'll be the first one to say that have very little experience in coding in .NET. As SQL Server 2005 rolls out with its SQLCLR DBA's, like myself will need to get up to speed on coding .NET. I'm looking for advice on what might be some good books, good training, and on-the-job training type of exercises that would help a DBA learn a new skill .NET coding.

Greg, I'm in the same boat (although with less coding experience - I did a VB 6 course about 3 years ago ). Please post anything you find useful here.

Try the links below to get started, I would not buy any book out now because the new System.Nullables will affect CLR stored procs so any book without that class is incomplete. If you know VB a book by Michael Otey will be good. I write C# the current books out I will not buy any. Hope this helps.
