getting the environment variables for a 2012 ssis solution

  • Hi, please only answer if you actually know the answer.

Is it possible to export the environment variables for an SSIS 2012 project? And if so how is it achieved?

    Thanks B

  • When you create the environment variables, you have the option to script them out. Sadly this only works when you create them, not afterwards.

You could extract the values out of the catalog using T-SQL and the catalog views, or you could use PowerShell.
