I've created a SQL Server Agent Job. Now I'm trying to edit the existing job. However, when I go to Step 1 in the list and click the Edit button I get the following error:
Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {...} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: c001f011 (Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS)
I seem to remember that SS has given me this error on a previous project in the past when I tried to edit a step in an existing job. I seem to remember that I was able to fix this in the past but this was only 1 time 5 years ago so I can't seem to remember what the solution was.
Can you advise how to fix this?
