Getting Config file error while opening existing SSIS package in Visual Studio

  • Hi Team,

I was trying to edit the existing SSIS package but getting the below error message ,Can you please help me on this .

  • Is the file at the location mentioned in the error? If not, the message seems reasonable.

  • Hi Phil, Thanks for this response. Here ,i am migrating ssis 2008r2 to ssis 2019 and i have got ssis packages along with config file, not the solution .

I have to change all the parameters in the config files. So ,i am trying to edit the SSIS package in the solution. However ,while i am opening the existing 2008 SSIS package on my local Visual studio i am getting that error (mentioned earlier )  .Please suggest how to do that.

  • It's been so long since I've used 2008, I have no idea. Config files have been replaced by SSISDB environments and I suggest that that is the ideal way forward for you.
