Hi ,
I Have a report which have 108 columns based on the parameter i am showing and hiding these columns.
my problem is , When i choose less columns like one or two columns then i am getting blank pages when i export the report into pdf.
I tried using rectangles.
I tried setting ConsumeCOntainwhitespace=True.
Please let me know if there is any solution to control the blank pages...??
Thanks,
Veeren.

108 columns is a lot so you should try interactive height zero in the properties settings and change from portrait to landscape. The latter setting usually removes the pages but it affects the look of the report.

Hi Gift Peddie,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
Actuvally i am currently using landscape and my report interactive page size is 0 inch.
Is there any way to remove the blank pages or we can do any thing at all then we need to go any other reporting tool Is is a SSRS bug if yes? please specify the link or url how we can ask the same for technical support of Microsoft.
Thanks
Veeren.

When your report is 108 columns this may not qualify as a bug, and the interactive setting you need to define is height not size, that is interactive height zero. If you are using Landscape then you need to spend time adjusting the numeric settings, yes the blank pages can be removed because I could remove it with 13 hidden JPEG files. The customer decided to accept the blank page because the new setting changed the look of the report.
You may want to try the free Crystal Report in Visual Studio pro edition and up before changing because when I needed a report with 105 columns most of the work was in components design so the report can render without issues.

select the page size as "A4" .Try to give report border as .25 inch (left, right, top, bottom). It works in my case to remove the blank pages.

try to reduce the RDL in designing mode.....
Drag corner to insdie & set the width & height properties corectly....correctly
U can export in BIDS and test there itself.....
Reduce based on ur visibility...
