Get the following error running a SSIS package as a job... Could not load package

    Hi,

    I created an SSIS package and imported it into the MSDB. I am able to run the SSIS package by right clicking on it and selecting execute. When I try and schedule the SSIS package as a job I get the following error. The package is encrypted with a password. The password was not specified, or is not correct. End Error Could not load package.

    Can someone explain to me what I need to do, I didn't see a place to enter a password in the job step properties tab.

    When you add the job step that will execute the package, set the type as "SQL Server Integration Services Package". Then, you'll see a series of tabs. When you click on the "command line" tab, you'll be prompted for the package password.
