Hope Microsoft can make the column Name available more easily in SSIS development tools.

Hey great find! I think this unfortunately highlights how ridiculous things in SSIS are, and how many hoops you have to go through to get what should be the most basic information about the execution of your package.

I was able to get the error column in at least one previous version of SSIS. It wasn't very difficult, either, though I don't recall exactly how it was done.
