Get rid of path in Tabs

    I have been trying to solve this for a long time and have looked online to find the answer but can't find one that works.

    How do you get rid of the path of the sql query file name in the tabs.

    I have already done the tools/options/text editor/tab text bit. I have all of the set to false.

    But instead of getting just file name I get: c:\Users\AppData\Temp\~vsF6AC.sql*.

    How can I get just the file name?

    What version of SSMS are you working with? I don't have that problem with version 11.0.2100.60 which is basically a version of 2012.

    I am running on SSMS 2012 version 11.0.3000.0.
