Get data from another instance

  Hi, how can I get data from another instance. I am trying to use something like:

  select * from [DBMEL02\PRIORITY_ESHBEL].[threewm].abc

  but always get "Invalid object name 'DBMEL02\PRIORITY_ESHBEL.threewm.abc'"

  Try to create a linked server to that instance and then fetch data.
