My boss has asked me to find a way to simulate 300 simultaneous user's logging on and running SQL intensive queries.
How can I simulate such a load?
We are trying to justify going from a single server to a clustered environment.
I just need a way to generate a massive load, as we have a SAN vendor coming out to demo an Equilogic SAN.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Most software, or services, cost some decent $$. If you can get by with less features, OSTRESS (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887057) might owrk for you.
