Generate Reports

    Dear All,

    Need to generate from our live production.

    Gave options like AG ,which currently we dont have for live reporting
    Log Shipping if the reporting is not so frequent

    Any other options?

    you can think about replication, we used this for reporting .

    Thanks Andreas. Can you help me understand more?

    What kind of replication you used? Are you using a different server as distributor (automatic failover)?

    Hi,
    "it depends". We used transactional  replication for a database  from about 400 GB.
    We had a separate distribution server, because we had about 12 replications over all.
    For transactional replication, every replicated table needs a primary key.
    There are a lot of good  pages in the internet. Just try to setup in you test enviroment.
