    hi,

    i recently using Fulltext serch.but it is too slow when i access it.

    i'm using free text query for this.

    how can i optimize the FULL-TEXT Index query.

    how can i remove the catalog and recreate .

    please help me.

    If you are seeing an initial 45 second delay when you perform a search, it may be caused by by SQL Server attempting a file signature verification, but is unable to do so due to firewall settings or lack of Internet Connectivity.

    I have used this solution in the past successfully.
