Full Backup "perform checksum before writing to media"

  Hi, Guys.

  i want to ask one thing about full, Differential & Transcriptional backup.

  Can we select the option "perform checksum before writing to media" for these tree type of backups

  please explain.

  Yes you can. Each one will run the checksum calculation on the pages before and after they are written to disk to help ensure that what was read from your database is what was written out to backup. It's that simple.
