Full backup of a Primary log shipping server

    Hi all,

    Been having some difficulties with restorations on the Secondary, and I've noticed that if LS gets stuck, I will take a back up of the Primary ONLY to ensure we have a safe copy of the data, but in doing this, LS moves back into synch.

    However, am I in any way breaking the chain or throwing the two servers out of consistency between themselves?

    Full backups do not and never have interfered with the log chain
