FTP task using SSIS 2008

    How to configure ftp task editor in SSIS? How to configure Local path & Remote path in FTP task editor?

    Any one has any idea? Thanks in advance.

    Hi There...

    Follow these steps

    1. Create and FTP task.

    2. Create ftp connection in which just mention the server name like http://ftp.servername.com or 11.22.33.44

    3. Local path corresponds to the source incase ur loading files. Just browse and select the file. Incase of variable select as the path as variable.

    3. Remote path corresponds to ftp location path where the file has to be destined. Use the browse select the folder where the file has to be uploaded.

    Hi

    Thanx for your reply, I tried these all but still having problem, can you give some examples to configure local path and remote path. My SQL gets hanged when I try to configure remote path.

    Please help its very urgent for me.

    Hi, are you using SSIS 2005 or 2008? And I will suggest you check the access of the account you are using to access the path.
