FTP from remote server

    Good Day Guys

    I would like to know how do I FTP from remote server to my c: drive.  I tried DTS but I don't see the files I have to http://FTP.  I have my remote sever's IP address, username and password

    Quite honestly the FTP object that comes with DTS in SQL 2000 is not very usefull. It would be better to do a batch file to do the processing and call the file as it is much faster. I don't have an example handy but will look later when I get a chance if someone doesn't post one.

    Hi Guys

    I got an answer from

    http://www.nigelrivett.net/s_ftp_PutFile.html where Nigel use used Put, I had to use Get since I am getting this from remote server.
