  I'm trying to add a File Tranfer Protocol task to my DTS package. The file that is created resides on the same server with the package. If I put the source as a directory and not Internet I don't have the choice to place an IP address, etc and I need this. Also, can this be scheduled ?

  If you choose a directory, then you do not need an IP. It will do a file copy.

  you can schedule the pacakge. Right click the package and choose "Schedule"

  I actually need to put an IP for destination not source, and I want to know that if the job run it will do the FTP as the next step ?
