FTP Connection Manager

    hi,

    I am using FTP connection and want to connect the FTP server. I am using FTP connection manager where it is asking server name, I have given FTP IP of the server and the user name and password which we use to connect the FTP.

    But when I press test connection it fails.

    Am I doing something wrong??

    Could be a couple of things - check the port and possible use of passive mode in the connection.

    Are you accessing an internal or external FTP IP address - check the firewall settings of the FTP server to make sure connections are allowed.

    Also check that that the FTP server can be contacted using another FTP client.
