I recently updated my fathers wordpress blog from 2.3.1 to 2.5.1. This also required updating the database. After updating the SQL database (which is client version 4.1.22), many of the accent marks throughout the posts got garbled. Anyone know how I can fix this?

That's a MySQL version number, not an MS SQL version number. You're probably running on MySQL. Might be better off asking on a page that focuses on that product, instead of one that focuses on MS SQL.
