I am looking to practice writing T-SQL queries and it would really help if I can get practice exercises and solutions to them.
I haven't had much luck searching for free T-SQL exercises, solutions to the exercises, and an accompanying database script.
Please point me to any site that will provide me with the mentioned resources. Thanks in advance.

I'd say this site is a good one. Take a look at some of the questions posted, try to solve them, then compare your answer with the one posted.
Also, for a more comprehensive problem/solution approach, take a look at some of the articles. Many of them present a problem and then work through a solution. Well, stop after the problem, try to figure out how to do it, then read how the author solved it.

The exercises available in hackerrank.com for SQL Server is very minimal. If anybody can suggest better websites, it will be helpful.

Look for articles / books by Itzik Ben-Gan. Yes, a book(s) will cost you a little money, but it will be worth it!
SQL DBA,SQL Server MVP(07, 08, 09) "It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I'm wearing Milk-Bone underwear." "Norm", on "Cheers". Also from "Cheers", from "Carla": "You need to know 3 things about Tortelli men: Tortelli men draw women like flies; Tortelli men treat women like flies; Tortelli men's brains are in their flies".
