How about adding a SQL option to the Styles drop down of the text editor.
Have it remove the double spacing and highlight SQL Keywords in the appropriate (SSMS Default) color.

Not bad. That's an interesting idea. We're rewritting things and looking at some new HTML editors. Not sure we can get this in there, but I'll pass it along.

Thanks,
Do you know how to remove the double spacing I get saddled with when copy and pasting?

I don't. I think the control in IE can format cleaner, but the Firefox one is generic.

I'd be surprised if the folks from Red Gate couldn't come up with a way to integrate the simple Talk SQL Prettifier http://www.simple-talk.com/prettifier However it would be great to have the WYSIWYG editor in FF.
Thanks.

This is tedious if you've pasted a lot of lines in, but it works. At the end of each line, delete the carriage return and then hold down Shift and press enter to get a single-space carriage return.
