  • Another of those 'it depends' answers, rather than a straight Yes/No.

    I got it right ('Yes'), but as I answered I wondered if the Q poser was going to have 'No' as the answer as it isn't ALWAYS a &lt.British&gt. localised &lt./British&gt. message.

    (BTW how do get 'less than' etc? &lt. clearly doesn't work)

  • From BOL:

    FORMATMESSAGE looks up the message in the current language of the user. If there is no localized version of the message, the U.S. English version is used.

  • It is localized, if that's available. If not US English is used.

    The standard < should get replaced and work. Might need a space after it to prevent injection stuff.
