    Hi frnds,

    I have a situation like wen i export a report to XL, a 4 character field,presented many records that are either less than or more than four characters(e.g 590 was shown instead of 0590,5.00E+10 was shown when it should be 5E10.How I can accurately present the data in export file.

    You can format the reports in BIDS and specify the style in which you would like to see when you export the reprts. You will find the Format option in the properties window of the corresponding column.
