What would you say (moreso the wording) to your boss about the server depicted in the attached image?

As a foreword on this, when I took this snap the server was undergoing some routine index maintenance...CPU < 50%, everything else in the normal ranges...

C - OS, reporting services, general software
D - Main Data files
F - Index Files and some TempDB files
T - Log files

I would say that your performance bottleneck on the server is on the D and F drives and that it can be improved by investing in a SCSI raid configuration and placing your Indexes on SSD devices. This is similar to the solution Microsoft uses on their Hotmail servers to improve performance in searching email.

I guess what I'd say depends on the situation. Is your boss or your are your users coming to you saying "Hey, application X is really slow" where application X depends on this particular instance/server? Or is everyone delightfully oblivious to the situation?
