For a DW, is it worth always recompiling all SP's after weekly index maintenance?

    So not talking about SP's that run in a millisecond but procedures that run for up to an hour each.

    This will make the recompile time irrelevant.

    Has anyone tried this or does anyone know of any drawbacks with this?

    No. Index maintenance will invalidate all plans anyway, they'll recompile on their next execution.
