Font size in Enterprise Manger .. SQL Server 2000

  • Does anyone have any idea of how to change the font size in Enterprise manager ? If I select Tools=>Font from EM Menu bar, then I only have a choice of 8 or 9 point font size. Keying in a larger size in the availale text box generates an error message that only 8 or 9 point font is allowed. Could this be something on my XP machine that only allows EM to see these smaller fonts .. I'm gettin old and need 12 pt. or so to see this stuff good.

    TIA

    Del

  • I'm afraid that's it... if you want to change the font "size" in EM, I believe you are going to have to change the screen resolution (right click on the desktop) to something a bit less resolute.  Or, do like I did so my old eyes can read the stuff... buy a larger monitor or flat panel

  • I found an alternative in XP... right click on the desktop, select [Properties], select the [Appearance] tab, and change the [Font Size] setting to LARGE or EXTRA LARGE.

  • Jeff,

Thanks, I alreay went the flat panel route .

And I had already tried properties and that makes everything else really ugly. Guess, I'll have to change contacts. ... or just retire .. I dont know why the heck I do this anyway. I live on the beach, I have a boat, my cars are paid for and my wife is the head DBA for CocaCola ..

  • Is she hiring?
