flat file to DB

    the redirect should come from the OLE DB Destination to the Flat File Destination that will contain the error rows.

    put that in place, delete the redirect from the Flat File Source and ensure that the mappings are stated in Flat File Destination. Also, on the OLE DB Destination, when you edit the task, go to the Error Output page and select the Redirect Row as the error action.

    This will load the good records into the OLE DB Destination and Redirect the Error rows into the Flat File Destination

    i have done that but i get some errors in this way ....

    [Flat File Destination [162]] Warning: Access is denied.

    [Flat File Destination [162]] Error: Cannot open the datafile "\\Syndevsql\rawdata\Schering\SP-MNYCC 0000008\SP C3 Rebate$ units1".

    [DTS.Pipeline] Error: component "Flat File Destination" (162) failed the pre-execute phase and returned error code 0xC020200E.

    i have attached a pic ...i have done i that way could have a look at that
