I'm trying to use {lf} for row terminators, but it does not seem to be working. When I load the file into Ultraedit I see the paragraph symbol. I can load another file into ultraedit--it has the empty squares.
What's wrong with SSIS?

Weird when I open in Notepad++, I see just the lf, but with Ultraedit it shows the paragraph symbol, humph...

You can check the data in hexadecimal format, so that you can ensure yourself what symbols are actually there.

The row terminator symbol is specified in the last defined column in the Flat File connection manager.
