First 3 Checks to find a slow/unresponsive server

  Hi Folks,

  What are the first 3 tools/sql queries or any other type of check would you perform to identify when you know your server is slow or unresponsive ?

  I know

  1) Activity Monitor

  2) Run DMV (memory related DMV)

  3) SP_who2
