  Hi

  Is there way to find out how long the deadlock existed ? Is there any system table or logs which can gives details about the how long was the perticular deadlock existed ?

  I don't know.  I've only ever used SQLprofiler traces to determine this, so short of using an ongoing trace. 

  But, in my experience it's never been a long time.

  Unless you are talking about live locks?  (i.e. those not automatically detected and one process rolledback)
