  Hi ,

  I have restored database 'ABC' [ABC.bak] on Machine 'B'. The backup file is from machine 'A'. While i was running the application on 'B' its showing that “Couldnt find the Server 'XYZ' , Execute SP_AddLinkedServer ‘XYZ’ “. where XYZ is the Database Server instance name on machine ‘A’.

  ->How to overcome this without adding linked server.

  ->How to find the objects which are referring Linked server

  try server_name.database_name..table_name and if works fine...keep an alias(synonym) for this name and go ahead
