Hi, I'm pretty new to RS so just trying to get to grips with what is possible. I've designed and report which has 3 parameters. The last parameter is a static list. All working fine. I call the report from a web application using a URL with parameters in the URL (populated with session variables from the .NET application). We found a way of hiding the parameter textboxes when the report is called from the app. However, I need to be able to show the third parameter dropdown list while hiding the other 2 parameters. Not sure if this is possible but I suspect not.
Is it possible to use a filter dropdown list on a report as an alternative to a parameter dropdown list (bit confused about how filters work)?

Not sure how you're hiding the parameter list, but in the RS2000, if you remove text in the Prompt User text box, the parameter is hidden from the user. In RS2005, there is a hidden checkbox available as well. Just remove the text from the parameters you don't want the users to see

Thanks I'll try that.
