Good evening Mr. Andy.
Your cleverly worded questions from the category FileTables according to MSDN documentation
is very difficult to answer . I have a "small" suggestion for you. Please, if possible, write the theme
of the FileTables into series Stairways on SSC.com . Many people will be grateful for it .
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely Jiri Vobr, Jihlava, Czech Republic.

Thanks for the excellent question, Andy. The MS documentation seems to be pretty poor on non_transacted_access (I know, shocking, isn't it?): it just shows the possible values and how to set them, without any discussion of what they actually mean. Since I haven't worked with filetables, I was making what I thought was an educated guess (which was wrong). At least I learned something (which is, of course, the main reason for QOTD).
