Hi,
never use %, set some value that fits to your database size.
But the best way, do not use autogrowth. Calculate the size of the database per year, and avoid autogrowth.
If you know, that your database will grow every week 6 gb, why do you not set the correct size till the end of the year.
You did not know, when your autogrowth will happen, or?
Kind regards,
Andreas
PS: and check, if IFI is active,

Also make sure you have instant file initialization on so that autogrowth events are as non-disruptive as possible.
