Why thank you Monte. Very gracious of you. Truly a fitting end to the season, a matchup of the two highest-scoring teams in the league. Seldom does it work out that way.

Did you guys think I was done? Just because Hillis was washed up, Hicks out, Owens on IR, and Austin in a perpetual slump thanks to poor QB play?
Yes it is true my boys faded, hard, down the stretch. But never underestimate the heart of a champion. Boldly reinventing oneself when the chips are down takes guts, but it must be done!
Josh Freeman, who singlehandedly won my semifinal matchup with his 41.78 pts? Who could possibly have the stones to bench such a player the very next week in the final? PowerPivotPro, that's who. "Thanks Josh," I said. "Take a breather, I'm going with that Tebow kid this week. Yeah, that's right. The one I picked up off the free agent curb."
Jerome Simpson? James McKnight? Andre Caldwell? Free agent rejects, all. But in the lineup they went.
A fitting ending indeed. High point score of the week against a most worthy opponent. Steve, I await my fabulous prizes.

Good times folks. I do look forward to next year. And I have a hunch that this time, I will see more of you at the online draft 🙂 It really does help to pick your own team. No way I repeat as champ next year. But I will definitely reprise my role as feared and loathed villain, never fear.
Keep in touch,

Congratulations, you two.
Monte, and Rob, I'll get prizes going today. Can both of you PM me a snail mail address?

Good times, good times. Thanks for the prizes, Steve.
See you all next year, I'll make sure I schedule the draft to accomodate my schedule and not any of yours =p

Looks like the NFL season will actually happen, who's in for fantasy football this year? Same format as last year, hopefully I can find a time for the draft that will accomodate us all.
Hope to hear from you soon!
