Think I've gone from a top four opponent to a top 4 opponent. Hurrah:unsure:

I don't get it...am I dense or is this British humor that I'm not privy to? Both could be true, too...

Thanks for the reminder -- for whatever reason, I wasn't thinking about the fact that tomorrow's Thanksgiving, and that there are games tomorrow!

At this time of the season, when you're hanging onto the playoff spots by the skin of your teeth, the last thing you want to be doing is going up against one of the top 4. Having managed to despatch one of them last week, the odds are definitely not in my favour playing another one the immediate week after.
I also have a very weird sense of humour so it may be me and not just the fact that I am a Brit. 😀

Well, you got me Ditka! By a fraction of a point - .7 to be exact.
At one point, I was #1 in both my leagues, now I'm kind of tanking in both. :w00t: But I did manage to stay in the playoffs.
GoBolts, you've scored more points than anyone else, with a total at 1336. So I'm glad you made it to the playoffs.
Now let's get after PowerPivotPro!

Wow -- I just looked at the standings. Do I actually have an outside chance at making a playoff spot???
Someone's gotta beat the Brits for me!!! 😀

It's been a busy week for me, but it's good to check in here and find that I am still drawing fire 🙂
The loss of Hakeem Nicks is killing me. He is the only player I have in every league, and has fueled much of my success this year.
Looking forward to playoffs 🙂

No, ignore that last post:-P, it's nice to be holding my own in a sport that doesn't get played in my country, I wanna make the playoffs. 😀
Looks like I'm hitting form just at the right time.

Wow, I just looked at the schedule to finish the season. Based on the way teams have performed this season, I don't think anyone could have picked a harder run in for me.:crying:
Just played PowerPivotPro and Go Bolts (taking 2 hard fought wins in the process), then I get to play Left Outer Join this week (currently 2nd seed) followed by SQL Bolts in wk 14 (currently wk 14). Things aren't looking that bad for Ray K at the moment. I will be gutted if I miss out on a wild card spot on countback, it's been good fun and I don't want to stop just yet.:-)
Five places taken, three 7-5 teams looking for a playoff spot this week, 2 up with 2 to play I believe, everything to play for. :w00t:

You definitely have the inside track. Even if I win my last two games, I'm still going to need some help!

I think I should add in a prize for last place. That way @speedracer, myself, Texas Engineers, and DBCC Go Team have something to shoot for the next few weeks 😉
Actually congrats to everyone and good job. Not sure what I promised, but I'll do a 1st and 2nd prize for the top two.
Since I shook Left Outer Join's hand in NYC, I'm giving him a cheer.

You gotta love the NFL. So mercurial...I pick up Fred Jackson, who was added/dropped like 700 times and he's turned out to be my horse, with Deion Branch adding the extra 'oomph' here and there. Now that I've talked about them, I'm sure they'll both end up on IR and I'll miss the playoffs...
Steve, you promised first place a trip to Jamaica, second place a brand new iPad (only if I'm in first or second, though).
This has been a lot of fun, looking forward to meeting some of you face to face at one of our SQL events someday.

Game tonight, don't forget to update your lineup. Lots of fun scenarios for the playoffs, you could be a spoiler, or the spoiled!
Key matchups:
SSC Steelers (7-5) vs YellowHammers (5-7) -- the Hammers need a win, Steelers holdin' on to 7 spot
Ditka (7-5) vs GoBolts (8-4) -- way too many scenarios if Ditka wins
PowerPivotPro (9-3) vs SQL Bolts (8-4) -- top seed on the line
Left Outer Join (9-3) vs British Bulldogs (7-5) -- the Brits are battlin' for the playoffs, LOJ wants top spot
Texas Engineers (2-10) vs Orange Engineers (5-7) -- could Ray make the playoffs???
BoomerSooner! (5-7) vs Huskies (8-4) -- just more crazy scenarios!
