Amazing. I thought I'd be way down, but managed to get close.
I'll try to do better next week

I'm doing fine in both of my leagues, but I'm surprised at that. For the last two years, my teams have been just sad. I'm not spending a lot of time with it, and I might end up loosing from now on, but there's a lot of dumb luck involved in this anyway.

Looks like 'DBCC Go Team' took a powder this week, I needed a beat down on PPP, too. Oh well...at least I won both my office pick 'em pools.

Wow. I actually picked up a win this week!
Wish I could say the same about my office league. I'm sucking wind. I lost by a measly three points this week!!!

Yes, reputation goes a long way. Teams have learned to tremble at my approach 😛
Oh wait, my top 3 WR's combined for 10 pts? Um, yeah, DBCC's unfilled bye weeks likely saved my butt.

My other team (in a Brit League run on NFL.Com) lost by, wait for it..., a whole 0.26 points:crying:
That really is a kick in the pants. Josh Scobee, 18 pts last week, 3 pts this week and I lose by 0.26 pts. Still the Niners got their first win so 1 out of three ain't bad! :w00t:

Oh yeah! Wouldn't miss a game in this country anyway but the Niners make it a bit special. I've already told the wife to bring lots of money as I need a new shirt amongst other things. Saw the Niners at Wembley back in the 80's but it was a pre-season game and all the top players just kept the sidelines warm. 🙂

It's too bad they're not more relevant, hopefully you get to see a good game.

Denver aren't quite firing on all cylinders so it could be a good match up. I will be letting my wife do lots of shopping for Niner's gear as well, so I am just gonna have a great weekend.

You got that right about Denver not firing on all cylinders! What happened to them? 59-14 ouch.

I have Eli as my QB in my other league's team, so his points helped a lot. Even if he did throw a few interceptions - two of them in the first 5 minutes of the game too! He had me worried there in the beginning.
'Hate to hear about Romo's injury though.
I'd like watching football more, except I wish they'd do something about on-side kicks. To me, they're shouldn't be a part of the game. The game's supposed to be about brute strength and intelligent play, not crawling around after a football to see who touches it first. While I'm at it, always trying to strip the ball isn't what football should be about either - it seems that punching the football out of the opponent's arms is too much of the game now. On the other hand, maybe I'm just "old-school" about sportsmanship.

My fantasy football season is less of a fantasy and more of a nightmare this year. At least the Steelers are playing well.

Glad to know i am not the only big Steelers fan in the group. I would trade a loss of having Aaron Smith back...
