heh, thanks Ray, I don't even know if you guys read this stuff but it's fun to do. Surprisingly, it takes a decent chunk of time to put this together but it's all part of a good commish's duties (yeah, i said dooties)...

I sure enjoy reading them when you get around to putting them up. Glad to see someone else noticed how lucky I've been getting this year. Too bad it couldn't of lasted me another matchup or two. Of course I would have beaten both of the other semifinal teams, but so is the fantasy life. Hopefully Steve doesn't embarrass me in the Toilet Bowl, I mean 3rd place game.

I always read the updates and look forward to the enjoyable banter each week.:-)

Looking forward to next year!
I'm with you, Lynn! I could never get any traction despite scoring points. Alas, such is fantasy football.

I bet Steve is fried, he was looking forward to not having to send out a trophy, just look at it admiringly on his mantle.

Fried, but from being overseas for two weeks.
Got back last night, get the lineup set and things look good. If only Mr Rodgers, Mr. Ajayi, and Mr. Crabtree had shown up last week....
Happy to send prizes. I don't need one.

Ha looks like I have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Rookie mistake in my first final, might have been close if I hadn't changed a winning team.
Need Zeke to have a record game, only if I was coaching and had already been guaranteed a first round bye, I wouldn't be playing him for a full 60 minutes.
Not quite ready to throw in the towel Ray, but I may have just gift- wrapped this one for you.

I've been avoiding saying anything, lest I tempt fate!
Yeah, I may have the advantage, but it is far from a done deal!
Good luck to you!

Congrats to the Orange Engineers, our second back to back champion in the SSCFFL!
The Engineers survived an up and down season, finishing one game above .500 and entered the playoffs as the 5th seed. A first round matchup with Ditka saw the Engineers explode for 120+ points, avenging a narrow week 9 loss to the HOF coach and set the tone of momentum to face the league dominating Way0utWest Cowboys. A bit of luck (and maybe jetlag) gave the Engineers the victory as the Cowboys posted their lowest point total of the season. The Engineers then set their sites squarely on the surging Sequel Surfer, the first time playoff attendee and one of our mates from across the pond. Both teams started their second tier QBs, playing matchups and hoping for a high ceiling. Both QBs underwhelmed with Mariota unfortunately going down early to injury, nearly shattering the repeat hopes of the Engineers. With Monday night looming, the Surfer was needing a record setting outburst from Zeke and almost got it...a Jason Witten TD helped to seal the victory for the Engineers.
The Engineers were the second most active team in the league, making 25 moves (1 less than SELECT) and averaged just over 96 points per game in the regular season, 102.9 for the playoffs.
Thanks again to all for another fun year. See you in 2017.
Happy New Year!
