"rag tag fugitive fleet" (BG anyone?)So you're implying that I'm the Cylon empire?
I <3 Ray
Nah, the whole league is Cylons, led by the Imperious Leader and the traitor Baltar, bent on my destruction. I'm hoping my series doesn't get cancelled.
Strangely enough, I never did get into any of the "new" episodes on SciFi channel in the 2000s.

The new series was pretty good. Very well done, and unlike the original series, it had closure.
Having said that, you're right; I do pine for the original series. Long live Lorne Greene (a.k.a. Cmdr. Adama)!

Congrats to the teams heading into Championship weekend, should be a fun set of playoffs.
My SLIM hopes were completely dashed when I got the notification that my kicker was out on Sunday morning, with no hope of replacing him 'cuz of waiver rules. Someone needs to fix that setting...

Wouldn't you have felt silly if there was a free agent kicker who put up 40 points this week. 😛

Mr. Kidd, what happened?
Now that is a good question...
It all went pear shaped at the end! 🙂
Only one other team would have beaten me last week!
Rodders...

Looks like my first round playoff matchup is as good as clinched!
I suppose it's theoretically possible for the New England defense to score 32 points tonight, but I'm not holding my breath! 😀
Look out, Steve, I'm coming for you!!!

Fingers crossed. The projections have me losing, but hopefully Rodgers, KC, and Crabtree can do something for me since I lost my main RB.

Woohoo I finally made the Big One. :w00t:
Can I stop Ray from repeating and joining Lynn as back to back winners (not sure anybody else has done it?)?
Can I take the proverbial Trophy across the pond? (First non-USA winner?) 😀
I am actually just so chuffed to be in the Final. Bring it on Ray 😛
(What I'm really pleased about is the fact that after the draft, Yahoo's report reckoned I was due for a 3-9 season and 12th place. Ha, one in the eye for Yahoo!)
On paper I think I may have the edge but Ray is defending champion and, as the saying goes, Any Given Sunday...
Soooo looking forward to weekend now (as if I wasn't looking forward to Xmas anyway).
Hope all you guys and your families have a really good Xmas, best wishes to you all.

The finals are here!
British Bulldogs (9-4, 2nd) vs Orange Engineers (7-6, 5th) - The Bulldogs celebrated their first playoff appearance with a trip to the finals. He's ridden the explosion of the Dallas rookies and solid performances from his plethora of WRs. The Engineers have ridden the fickle waves of fantasy football, turtle rolling the soup when caught inside and hanging ten on the big bombers. Indeed, the British are coming, but it may be behind the arm of Cousins...Elliott's legs will definitely be on display. The Engineers will be relying on a Christmas morning resounding of the Lev Bell and the thick Hyde of Carlos to repeat as league champion.
Third place matchup:
SELECT Wins INTO (8-5, 3rd) vs Way0utWest Cowboys (10-3, 1st) - SELECT's perennial playoff appearance puts him vying for third place, facing the disgruntled Cowboys. SELECT scored the least amount of points in the Simple division but became the division's representative, disappointed with his Gurley RB but still relying on his performance against the hapless Niners. His choice of DEF and WR will likely make the difference in this contest. The Cowboys dominance could reappear if his horses decide to run again, backed by Mr Rodgers and supplemented with the Chargers running game and Tampa's aerial attack.
Merry Christmas to all!
