I would love an IR spot too; that's one of the frustrating parts of fantasy football, placing the injured stallion in the barn knowing that you can't afford the hay if he isn't running!
Squeezed out my win this week...who woulda thought the Bills offense would be this good?

Anyone from the SSCFL going to be at PASS, maybe going to the SSC Tuesday Casino night? Would love to put a face to a name.

I'll be there. I'm doing a regular session, a panel discussion, a lightning talk, and a focus group.

Talking about PASS, I just got home from SQLbits in Liverpool. Never been to one before and I am so glad I went. It was brilliant, eye-opening and I even got to say hello to Steve. When I heard he was presenting (and I did go to his 'Preparing for Disaster' session) I thought it was a great chance to say hello and meet one of the other managers.
Still gutted he beat me in week 2 though 😛

The only decent week I've had. Big Ben and Shawn Greene are killing me.
October 7, 2011 at 12:20 pm
Week 5 matchups:
SSC Steelers (2-2) vs SQL Bolts (2-2) -- someone will have a winning record after this week
NFLSoldiers (1-3) vs @speedracer (2-2) -- @speedracer is on a winning streak, can it continue?
Way0utWest Cowboys (1-3) vs BoomerSooner! (3-1) -- Big Ben is playing, will he carry Steve?
PowerPivotPro (2-2) vs Ditka (3-1) -- battle for supremacy in Division 1
Left Outer Join (0-4) vs British Bulldogs (3-1) -- can LOJ de-fang the Bulldogs and get his first win?
Orange Engineers (3-1) vs GoBolts (2-2) -- Ray likes the Packers and Giants, Monte has Eli...
Get those lineups in!

Woot Steve!
I sent the reminder out to update our lineups and still forgot to replace my kicker, who was on a BYE.
Guess it tells you how busy I was last week...

Doing well in this league, but the Sea-squawks screwed me in my office league. My starting RB's had bye weeks, so I had to start Marshawn Lynch, as well as Doug Baldwin at WR.
Well, the Seahawks did not announce until after the game had started that Lynch was out for the game. And Baldwin had a grand total of zero catches. Grand point total for my two Seahawk players: zero.
I am now in last place in my office league. Thanks for nothing, Seahawks.

@Sequel Surfer,
Did you go to the game in London? Don't remember if you're close to there or not.

@Sequel Surfer,Did you go to the game in London? Don't remember if you're close to there or not.
Sore subject:crying:
It's the first one at Wembley I've missed in the last 5 years (and went to most of the preseason games back in the 80s and early 90s). I live in Manchester so it's only 200 miles or so. I've done the day trip in the past as well as staying over and last year stayed in the Hilton right outside the stadium mainly because the 49ers were playing. Circumstances prevented me this year but I will not be missing next years game. The atmosphere is great whoever is playing so me and Mrs SequelSurfer will be there.
Thanks for asking.:-)
