failover the cluster

  • how to do the failover the cluster?

  • Are you using Microsoft clustering or a third party like Veritas (VCS) ?

  • Just go to the Cluster Administrator and do "Move Group".

Just go to the Cluster Administrator and do "Move Group".

you can also use cluster.exe to do this as well

That is one way, quite a generalised question and answer. the cluster can also failover if a cluster resource fails and it is set to affect the group. if the cluster is set to automatic failover.
