  Hi All,

  We have a requirement to set the notification if the server isfailed over or recycled. I created a job with option "“Start automatically when the sql server agent starts”. I would like to know if any specific information will be logged in SQLServer Error log while failover. I can grep the logs to diffrentiate between recycle and failover. Thanks.

  You could capture the failovermgr events in the windows system log and also check the windows application log for concurrent event messages.
