You'll need to take another backup after you've stopped the hyperbac service before you will be able to successfully restore it on the other server (remember to restart the service after-the-fact).

That's not the only option; you can also look in the Hyperbac configuration and see if they've limited Hyperbac to only certain subdirectory (tree) and/or extension sets. They must have done at least one of these, meaning that you can take a backup to a directory outside theirs, and/or using an extension Hyperbac won't intercept, and you should be fine (drive space permitting).
