  I am getting this error when i am trying to run DTA(db tuning advisor).Pls help me in fe=iguring out. also below error is shwoing during DML cmd run.

  Msg 6610, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_xml_preparedocument, Line 1

  Failed to load Msxmlsql.dll.

  I have sql 2008 and 2005 instance on windows 2003 box where 2005 instance is working fine.

  The reference here would be a great place to start. They seem to have a lot of information about this exact error with lots of resolutions. 😛
