Has anyone here ever used the Reporting Services plugin for ProClarity's Desktop Professional? I just installed this the other day and each time I try to export a report from DP to an RDL I get "Could not insert the dataset fields into the report layout".
Has anyone come across this?

Can't you pickup the RDL files from filesystem or from the ReportServer after deployment. Haven't used ProClarity' before, but the actual report file is deployed as the RDL.

To do a Proclarity report from reporting services you want to open a new report project and select the Add A New Item by selecting the Report Folder in the Project Explorer, then select Proclarity Report Wizard as the project type. This will open a wizard that will walk you through opening proclarity and allowing you to select the data you want. It will then put it into Reporting services and bind the data to fields in Reporting Services.
You can modify the MDX after this process is done if you need to change the query.
