I have a report where I need to show some specific tables for a list of customers, so i`ve achieved this using a subreport in a list. Now, in subreport I have 3 matrix and 2 tables. When I export to excell, before last table in the subreport I get 1st row from worksheet about 20 cm heigh, then the table, which is pushed down by 1st row. That table (same as the other one) has page break before, it has 3 lines in header (to show the info required on each page the table spawns), then a simple group, group header / footer showing on each page.
I've tried to get this working by recreating the tables, subreport, list .. but nothing seems to work, and I can't say what i'm doing wrong. Also, if I remove the last table from subreport, the row still appears, but now before the other table (which would be the last one in the subreport now).
This doesn't happen in PDF or Preview - these are exactly how I need them to be. Excel on the other hand .. no.
Is this a bug ? Does any1 know how can I workaround this ?

I couldn't find a solution for that, and didn't got any answer on multiple forums. I got that at some point looking better when I placed each table / matrix in original subreport, into their own subreports, so that way I got a list with 5 subreports, each containing only one element. I dont remember exactly what the issue was with that, but there was one and i had to find another solution which was to re-write the query within dataset (well, stored proc), to return all the data needed for all 5 tables / matrixes, and then built a list inside a list, with the right grouping, to do what I had to do .. that worked perfect .. but i`ve spent quite some time to get it right 🙂
Also, it's worth to mention, i did raise this question with some MS guys i`ve met, and the answers I got were - use CSV or use SSRS 2008 (i might add to these - use telerik if that makes ur life easier, and customer / company agrees to pay for it).
