Export button on report

    Hello,

    I have Ms Reporting services SQL 2000 SP2.  The report runs fine, however when trying to export the report after selecting a export type (Excel), the export button is not always enabled.

    On some machines (XP IE 6) this works fine, however on others it does not.  I have checked and I cant see any differences between the machines settings.

    At first I thought it may be due to rendering issues, incorrect version of Excel for example, however the machines are using Excel 2002 or greater -  so this should work.

    Any ideas would be greatly apprieciated.

    I had the same problem and traced it to a popup blocker.

    Check to see if the machine has a popup blocker and turn it off.

    Its a strange one, but what I found was:

    If I use the mouse to select an export type from the list, the export button would be disabled.  However if I use the arrow keys on the keyboard, the export button became enabled

    I can't explain the reason for it.
