I would check to see if you have any elements, such as borders, rectangles etc.. that are not showing in SSRS but will cause a pdf to go onto another page.
Also check that the page size settings will match that of a pdf.

Hi,
I dont have anything like that. i have rechecked again.
i just have a table which needs to be printed in a company letter head, when it is generated now also it is showing in one page but when i print it or export to PDF it is adding a second page.
i coudnt get it why it is happening in such a way.

the page size may be too big, try making the page size a lot smaller to see if that is causing the problem

when i had this problem it was due to the Body width being greater than the page width minus the left & right margins.
here's a link

This can also happen when there is space between the bottom of the table and the bottom of the body. SSRS includes that space when it renders the report - if the table as rendered stops at 7 inches down the page, but there's 2 inches of space between the bottom of the table and the bottom of the body, the report will be 9 inches high and will not fit on one 8.5"x11" page. If your report consists only of one table, make sure the body dimensions and the table dimensions are identical.
