My new Company uses NETIQ to monitor all Servers and Services. I can monitor the SQL standart performance counters but i will monitor jobs too.
Have everybody any experience with NETIQ too??

Hi Gurbaksh,
no is the essential NETIQ AppManager, there are couters for DB - Space and Service Monitoring, but i need a construct to monitor failed Jobs.

Ah.sorry I dont know that one....but if u need i can share a script that we use to monitor jobs...

Not sure if this helps. But what I did is ran a job and forced it to fail. Gave this information from the EVENT LOG showing this failure to the NETIQ Admin, she setup an e-mail alert on all servers running SQL Server and it emails me when any job that runs in SQL Server fails... Works like a champ !
