I have a list of tables where each table can be expanded/collapsed individually, but I wonder if there is a way to add a link so that when it is clicked, all of the tables are expanded/collapsed. Anyone have any thoughts?

Set the Visibility > ToggleItem property of each table to a single textbox control.

But what if you wanted to do both? Give the user the ability to individually expand each section. But, if they have a buch of things expanded, be able to select one item and collapse them all. It would be nice if SSRS could do event statements like VB....maybe there is and I just haven't discovered it yet.

Aye, there's the rub. I have thought the same thing on a number of occasions. Sometimes the solution is to wrap the report viewer in a .NET app, which gives you the report presentation engine in an event-driven context; but obviously there are many situations where this doesn't suit the requirement.
